Delete Unused Apps (Free Up Space)

Remove unused apps to free storage and improve Firestick performance.

If your Firestick is running slowly, crashing, or your apps are buffering more than usual, low storage can be a common cause.

This guide shows you how to check your available space and uninstall apps you no longer use.

Before you start

  • Uninstalling an app removes it from your device. You can reinstall it later from the Amazon Appstore.
  • If you are uninstalling AIO TV, you may need to sign in again after reinstalling.

Quick instructions

  1. Open Settings (profile/settings icon).
  1. Select Applications.
  1. Check your Available Space.
  1. Open Manage Installed Applications.
  1. Select the app you want to remove.
