Installing Downloader
Install the Downloader app so you can add third-party apps to your Firestick.
To install third-party apps on your Firestick, you first need the Downloader app. Downloader allows you to enter a direct URL or short code and download applications safely onto your device. It’s free, easy to use, and available directly from the Amazon Appstore.
Follow the steps below to install Downloader before proceeding with your app setup.
Step 1
From the home screen of your device, hover over the Find button and then click the Search box.
Step 2
Search for and select ‘Downloader’
Step 3
Choose and select the app
Step 4
Click Get or Download.
Step 5
Wait for the app to install.
Step 6
You will see a notification in the bottom right-hand, then click ‘open’
Step 7
You'll then be inside ‘Downloader’
Then we move onto Enabling Developer Options
